Making a deposit
How to fund your account safely with on-chain transfers.
KnightsVault accepts on-chain deposits in BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, USDC, and TRX. Fiat is not yet supported.
Find your deposit address
Open Wallets, choose the asset, and click Deposit. You will see:
- A unique deposit address tied to your account
- A QR code for mobile wallets
- The chain (mainnet for crypto-native assets; ERC-20 / BEP-20 / TRC-20 for stablecoins)
Send only the matching asset on the matching chain. USDT on TRON sent to a USDT-on-Ethereum address is unrecoverable. We cannot retrieve funds sent to the wrong chain.
Confirmation thresholds
Funds become spendable after the threshold below has passed:
- BTC — 3 confirmations (~30 minutes)
- ETH and ERC-20 stablecoins — 12 confirmations (~3 minutes)
- BNB and BEP-20 stablecoins — 15 confirmations (~45 seconds)
- TRON and TRC-20 stablecoins — 20 confirmations (~1 minute)
You can watch progress in Transactions — pending deposits appear with a confirmation counter that updates roughly every 30 seconds.
Minimum deposit sizes
We don't enforce a hard minimum, but very small deposits may cost more in network fees than they're worth. As a rough rule of thumb, deposit at least the equivalent of $50 USD per transfer.
Why is my deposit pending?
The most common reasons:
- Below confirmation threshold — wait for the network.
- Block-explorer reorg — chain reorganisations can roll back blocks. We wait the full threshold to ensure finality.
- Wrong chain — if the address belongs to a different chain than what you sent, the deposit will never confirm. Contact support immediately.
- Sanctions screening — large or unusual deposits may trigger an automated KYT (Know Your Transaction) review. You'll see the deposit but the balance won't unlock until cleared.
Travel Rule (FATF R.16)
For deposits over the FATF threshold (currently €1,000 in the EU), our compliance team may ask for information about the originating wallet (holder name, address). This is a standard regulatory requirement under MiCA and applies to all licensed custodians.
